Reinier Brands is a 26-year-old film enthusiast with a background in the Dutch film industry. Besides having a master’s in Media Innovation and a bachelor’s in International Media and Entertainment Management, previously, Reinier was a Screen Content Manager at Vue Cinemas, responsible for choosing which films made it to their cinemas, and in what capacity. Before that, interning at Entertainment One, he had a hand in working on the publishing and marketing of dozens of movies in the Netherlands, including Hotel Mumbai, Booksmart, Vice and 1917. Currently, he is also a film critic and journalist for the film website Asian Movie Pulse, as well as an ambassador for the International Rotterdam Film Festival.
