R.A.F. Lloyd-Davies

R.A.F. Lloyd-Davies is a British radiographer whose lifelong fascination with folk lore, cosmic horror, and the sciences led him to create the series the shards of Aegis Tor, an epic saga where ancient technologies and divine geometry collide.

Drawing inspiration from authors such as Brandon Sanderson, Christopher Ruocchio, Dan Simmons, and John Gwynne, he writes character-driven, emotionally charged fantasy that explores grief, resilience, and the quiet bravery found in broken places.

When he isn’t shaping the world of Taelethos or inventing new languages, he spends his days with his two children, a strong cup of tea, and the dream of sharing a universe that blends wonder, terror, and transcendence.
