Phillip M Graehl

Phillip M. Graehl grew up in a nonreligious household with only limited exposure to his family's Latter-day Saint heritage. Although he recognized a disconnect between public perceptions of the faith and the lives of family members who practiced it, he did not begin investigating those beliefs until adulthood.

After achieving many of the goals he had long pursued, including a successful medical career, marriage, and financial security, Graehl found himself searching for a deeper sense of purpose. Encouraged by his wife, he began studying the Bible, a journey that eventually led him to read the Book of Mormon and investigate The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for himself.

That experience transformed his understanding of Jesus Christ, the restored gospel, and the purpose of life.

Phillip Graehl is a retired orthopedic surgeon who lives in Texas with his wife of more than thirty-eight years. They have one son.
