LM Diletta

LM is an independent author who wanted to be a sports journalist, got a degree in something she only uses on trivia nights, and has spent the last two decades in a career she never expected.

Turning 50 convinced her to try some new things, like writing her first novel. She decided to write adult contemporary spicy romance, "Smut" as she lovingly refers to the genre, because it helped her repair parts of her life life that were broken by years of dealing with a chronic illness she didn't know she had because it fell under the category of "female problems". She also saw a lack of female main characters in her stage of life and wanted to rectify that.

When she's not writing or working, she's making a delicious mess in her Midwestern kitchen, embarrassing the two nearly adult sons she loves more than anything on the planet or trying out ideas she gets from books on her husband of nearly 25 years.
