Jared P. Woods

Jared P. Woods was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He started writing during a two year mission for his church, where long days and a notebook turned into a habit he never lost. He studied business finance at the University of Nevada, Reno, later earned his master's, and went on to start an importing and manufacturing business.

He lives on a six acre hobby farm outside Reno with his wife Christine, their four children, and a rotating population of cows, horses, pigs, goats, chickens, dogs, and cats. He still plays basketball.
