Cathy Harris

Cathy Harris is a Motivational Speaker, Self-Help Author, Columnist, Health and Wellness Expert, GMO Food Expert, Seminar and Workshop Trainer, Internet Radio Host, Founder of 'How To Take Control of Your Own Life' Book Series.

Cathy is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to moving forward. She is known for her guerilla marketing style by means of forums, radio interviews, e-broadcasts, web postings and newsletters.

As a courageous advocate for justice, before embarking on a writing and speaking career, she was a Senior Customs Inspector for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection under the Department of Homeland Security. She became a nationally recognized whistleblower and business owner when she successfully challenged the federal government on their demoralizing practices against international travelers especially women and their employees.

Cathy's life-altering decision to become a whistleblower has made an extraordinary impact on many whose lives she has touched. Her bold stance against such a large bureaucracy has made her an unwavering civil rights heroine of the 21st Century. Because of her actions, many reforms took place. She was responsible for the introduction of the "Civil Rights for International Travelers Act" and the "Reasonable Search Standards Act" to protect the American people.

During her tenure in the federal government, she received many honors both on the job and in the community. She is known as a woman in the business of uplifting and empowering her community. Her health and business initiatives for the entire community have helped her venture into uncharted territories where she is helping others transcend boundaries and create options.

Cathy is a veteran and lives in Atlanta. She is available for lectures, seminars and workshops at www.CathyHarrisSpeaks.com and can be contacted through her company, Angels Press (www.AngelsPress.com). For more empowerment tools, join the mailing list and buy other books by Cathy Harris.
