A freelance writer of fiction, Candace's writing covers many genres including horror, suspense, action/adventure, espionage, and intrigue. Currently, eleven of her books are available for purchase as either paperback, hardback, or ebook. Her love of writing stems from her adoration of the classic works; works that she feels convey the power of the written word along with the ability of an author to create a world where the reader becomes part of the story. Most recently she was named one of the Top 20 Most Prolific Authors of 2011 by AKG magazine. Born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, she spent the majority of her younger years in Bedford County which she considers to be her home. These were the surroundings and influences that later inspired her to write as well as a border-line obsession with history. Several of her novels blend mythical creatures into actual events from history to add realism to the story.
