Hundreds of years after a race of magical beings called dindeary have taken over most of the world Corporal Clark Jameson is graduating from the Human Empire’s military academy after four years of grueling work.

Corporal Clark Jameson, now Second Lieutenant Clark Jameson, had never dared to dream of a world where he belonged to a sword squad let alone become the wielder at the center of one, but here he was. He still has a long way to go; a week locked up in a dorm room wasn’t exactly the best way to get to know your new squadmates, and he’s never set foot outside of the empire before. Then there’s the matter of Harry and the secrets that Clark’s new squad seems to be keeping about Linsgarum’s mysterious former wielder.

Clark’s squad is on the run from the entire Dindeary Nation, they may have just defected from the Imperial Army, and Harry has just revealed something that could get them all killed if the wrong person were to find out. They need a plan, some way to save themselves from the storm that would be the entire planet hunting them for sport but when the Milson Family Sword, Linsmora, reveals that the heir to the Dindeary throne is hiding a dangerous secret that could shake the foundations of both countries they may not be able to run.
