This entire book was written as a result of losing my eighteen-year old son in a car accident. He was driving in a caravan of five cars going to a car show. He was driving too fast on a turnpike in Oklahoma in the rain when his car hydroplaned, spun around backward, and slid under the front of a wrecker on the side of the highway. The wrecker and a highway patrol officer were there as a result of another car that had hydroplaned in the same area prior to my son.

Like I mentioned, I love to bake. I imagined what would a little girl do waking up in a snow globe village in Mrs. Claus's kitchen and baking cookies with her. To me, that would be awesome! A warm and inviting kitchen with checkered tablecloth, hot cocoa, and marshmallows waiting for you. A little girl's dream come true.

Grandma's Special Cookie Cutters is a tribute to all working parents, who don't get the opportunity to work on projects with their children. Was there really magic in those old cookie cutters the girls found in that old trunk? Who knows?
