Standing at the podium at the Pro Football Hall of Fame Luncheon Club, Becca Moore is about to address a group of predominantly male football fans who know her only as the wife of the coach of the most famous high school football team in the nation: the Massillon Tigers. But more than being a coach’s wife, she is a girls flag football coach, an administrator for special needs students, and a two-time ironman finisher.

“We’re a small town with a football problem,” says a coach from the Massillon Tigers. It’s been fifty-three years since the town of Massillon, Ohio, had a State Championship to celebrate. On November 30, 2023, Head Coach Nate Moore led his Tigers to their first State Title in the playoff era.
