Obsession Depression and Madness goes deep into the psychosis of a man who lives with schizophrenia. It deals with the obsessive thinking that results from having delusions of persecution. It is very intense to say the least. It will take your mind to places you could only imagine. It will definitely make you feel for the author. These are poems from the vault of Timothy Paul Brown along with some recent poems. They were excluded from his other books for fear of judgement. He no longer is afraid to reveal these innermost thoughts, ideas, emotions and experiences to the world.

As usual they express the trials and tribulations, the glory and the pain, the grandiosity and obsession, the paranoid deluded thinking that come with having a paranoid schizophrenic disability. There is so much intensity and passion exhibited in this work of art. The author will take you to places you have never been in mind and spirit. You will feel empathy and compassion probably some sympathy. But these poems are not meant to make its listeners feel sorry for the author.

All my work revolves around the life and times of a paranoid schizophrenic. My work is very educational and inspiring to those in the system of mental health as well as those outside of the system. It gives insight as to how we think, feel, perceive, and process information.

Genius or Lunatic goes deeper into the mind of a paranoid schizophrenic. There is so much confusion in there. So much contradiction. So much religiosity. And there is much desire to know, understand, and find the truth. Along the ride you will find yourself saying, "But in this poem didn't he just say this"? It will bring out emotions that you won't expect. This brings you into his pain and lets you experience it firsthand.
