This is to remind that time is a gift and that every moment, for better or worse, is a privilege and should be cherished. Our moments are finite in this dance across the infinite expanse. And it is how we maneuver our minds to align to the pace that graces the universe and our bodies to its beat that constantly changes underneath our feet. These are our moments syncopated by faith and fear. Our time is now, and our place is here. And when we finally hear the percussiveness of peace— true wealth will appear. And the finest moments are the most severe.

The real pandemic in this world is fear. It spreads quicker than any wildfire or plague, and has the ability to destroy economies, nations, and humanity. As daunting as fear is, there is an innate antidote that can remedy and reverse the destruction caused by it: truth. For too long, I have allowed my fear of rejection and ridicule to fester, sickening me with the need to escape my loneliness through my addiction to methamphetamine. Pain is inevitable, but suffering is a choice, and I no longer wish to choose to vomit negativity, infecting the people I love.
