This story follows the odyssey of Harrison Ovitz, a quick-witted, ice cream-guzzling, pot-smoking, classical music-loving fundraiser for an organization dedicated to preventing child abuse. Late one night, a terrifying chance encounter with a man on the San Francisco Bay Bridge - Soul Man - leaves Harrison haunted and obsessed.
