Welcome to Iso-chats: Theology. I’m Lionel Windsor, New Testament Lecturer at Moore Theological College, Sydney. During the Covid-19 Isolation, I chatted with lots of my friends and colleagues here at Moore about theology, Christian life and ministry. It’s the kind of discussion we’d normally have over morning tea, but the topics are highly relevant to life in a changing world, so I wanted to let you listen in. Enjoy!

Lift Your Eyes is a series of reflections covering every sentence in Paul’s letter to the Ephesians. In each reflection, I take a short portion from the letter, provide a translation, describe what it’s saying, and reflect on what it means for our lives and our relationships with others. As you read Ephesians, it is my prayer that Paul’s letter will lift your eyes, raise your sights, and help you to stand. The reflections will be published twice a week starting 25 January 2019 and finishing in September 2019.

It is a truth universally acknowledged that there is an almost universal ambivalence towards truth these days. Many even reject the idea that universal truths have any valid place at all in our ‘post-truth’ society. As Christians, we cannot afford to let our society’s loose relationship with truth influence our thinking, living and speaking. In Truth be Told, Lionel Windsor goes back to the Bible to show how the gospel provides a foundation for both understanding truth and interacting truthfully with our culture.
