When the time came the division was sent to North Africa. From there, they invaded Italy and made a name for themselves by slugging it out against the German Army through the mountainous region in the "heel" of Italy then on through Rome. Not long after the Normandy Invasion, the Thirty-Sixth invaded Southern France; then as the German Army retreated toward Germany, the Thirty-Sixth Division raced around it and closed the trap.

The book "RD'S REVENGE" came strictly from my imagination. I started the book as a Western, figuring that to be the easiest type of book for me to write. The plot of revenge and vengeance, came to me as I went along. I have no formal writing background; with the exception of a short course I took in creative writing. I have read a lot of books on a variety of subjects. The characters portrayed in the book comes only from my imagination. Some of the names I use are family members or people I know personally and have their consent to use their first and middle names.

A man endowed with divine wisdom once wrote, "The words of the wise are like goads, and the words of scholars like well driven nails, given by one Shepherd." Embedded in the biblical narrative are five words bequeathed to the church by Jesus and the apostles that serve as goads motivating Christ's bride to fulfill her God given destiny. These five words represent the nexus of the Christian life as well as the tipping point between success or failure.

Some people described Jacob Gunn as being born with a chip on his shoulder. Throughout most of his childhood and all of his adult activities, Jacob held a disdain for the word “trust.” His life experiences caused him to believe trust was illusive or imaginary. He believes there are no half-truths or comparative truths, and truth is too often based on uneducated faith on words instead of actions. This story follows his perception and application of trust.
