Jacob, Ron, and the two editors-in-chief are on their way to a meeting that will be held at the Washington Sentinel's building. The four will sort through the information from the Valley of the Dead field doctor. The four newspaper professionals will lay out their strategy for breaking the story to the world. Every consequence must be discussed. The legal portion must be considered if Names are to be Named. Back at the university, the four research students have gained permission to study off-campus at Deborah's place, but is it safe?

When I found out the truth about the ‘hunt’, I could hardly believe it. It held me in a state of disbelief. Yet, having witnessed it myself firsthand, there was no way of denying that it wasn’t real. Not all of the men who went into the valley’s forest to hunt returned alive. It was a risk that each of us understood and accepted as a fact of life. It was, at least for me and my brothers, something that we’d wanted to do, no, something that was expected of us to complete before we became much older.

Jackson is setting in a hospital treatment room. His life is comprised of hopeless memories and whispers full of shadows, until death comes to visit. This story is based on some truth about personality disorders, personal experience, attempted suicide, and dysfunctional demons living within Jackson Stafford.

Jackson Stafford, the main character in the series, is being transferred from the Pandora Project back to the recruit training command near Chicago when a winter storm causes one of the jet engines on the plane owned by the investors to flame out. Ice freezing on the fuselage creates a situation causing the jet to plummet to the ground with no hope of recovery. During the descent, Ben, Jackson’s mental friend who lives in the inner room, creates a way that the passengers may be saved.

Fitting in can cost you your life. For Deborah Sophoria Rothchilds, fitting in wasn't her main concern as she followed the road maps that would lead her to one of the most unbelievable discoveries of her life. From that point, running was all she seemed to think of doing. Running for her life in the shadows of the Midas touch. They descended into the depths of the earth, a place where many wouldn't dare go, to dig out a living in a dark dimly lit place where some never returned. Paid pennies for their back-breaking work, they often supplemented the needs of their families by growing gardens and raising livestock. It was a common sight in the valleys along a lazy river that snaked through the mountainsides.

During the elaborate journey, employees from the project have their lives turned upside down as Sarah and Deb are first threatened by an agent from the FBI, and then eventually rescued by an unknown elusive hero. Matt, a willing associate to the blackmailing of the two ladies, falls into the spider’s web that’s enveloping the entire project.

In a world overrun by wealth, greed, and people seeking to become even more controlling, GLOBAL HARVESTERS INTERNATIONAL began the HUMANA PROJECT to become an intriguing part throughout the world to assist with proportionately reducing homelessness and poverty. If the food supply can be controlled by a sect of the one percent who have limitless resources, then they have and can maintain limitless power.
