After a year of peace, the remaining members of the MacMurchaid family in Valhalla are waiting for the planned first flight of the Trans-Mars-Jupiter Observatory form Mars to Jupiter and back. As much as the family would like to communicate with Kris and Tony, they know they will be busy on the TMJO during this flight. The flight proceeds with only two incidents which happened.

The MacMurchaids have a new possible threat to their solar system. It is first thought to be an anomaly passing through the Kuiper Belt at the outer reaches of the solar system. After some studying of this anomaly's actions, problems it has caused, and a signal sent to an ancient site on earth, it has become apparent that this new threat has ancient origins and possibly related to the trickster faction somehow. While waiting to hear from certain friends, the MacMurchaid family, their relatives and one friend look into how to handle what this anomaly or vessel might present as a threat.

When former Vatican Knight Kimball Hayden seeks solitude in a remote South Dakota cabin, he stumbles upon a catastrophic threat that could ignite World War III. Russian operatives have stolen nuclear launch codes from a secret Black Hills facility and are hiding in a neighboring cabin with a dark server capable of hijacking American satellites.

Philip Mantle is one of the UK’s best known UFO researchers. He entered into UFO research and investigation in 1980 when he joined the Yorkshire UFO Society (YUFOS) which had its HQ in the city of Leeds, West Yorkshire, just a few miles from where he lived. Ethan Kane's years-long quest for lost Solakari wisdom reaches its climax. With his devoted companions, he faces the final, brutal trials: the unforgiving Colorado Desert and the towering, treacherous Sierra Nevada. Nature's fury in perilous canyons like the Roaring Fork, and the greed of men like Captain Cortina, exact a heavy toll, costing them precious supplies and their loyal pack animals.

The MacMurchaids and their group work on searching for facilities which the trickster faction might control. They determine that at least one on Lunar Sister might be such a facility and there are many on Brother Mars. Before they investigate any of these sites they must prepare and gather everything they might need. Since a number of previous incidents happened mainly on or near Mars, then that is where they must head to first. The group has a meeting before everyone at Valhalla gets ready to leave.

Ethan Kane, guided by a Solakari clue from the Comanche Sky Altar, leads his party into the treacherous Chihuahuan desert in 1828, seeking the legendary Whispering Caves. They soon discover rivals: the ruthless Captain Rexford Gaines and his mercenaries are already scouring the mountains where the caves are hidden.

After a number of events dealing with enemies which have tried to remain unknown, the MacMurchaids along with their relatives and friends have been working to uncover who these enemies are. Robert and Denise know from human history that these enemies are not working for the good of their fellow humans, but toward goals which appear to be leading to domination of the entire solar system.

Since discovering that there is a faction who works in the shadows, the MacMurchaids, their relatives, and their friends take on the task of bringing these hidden foes into the light. This won't be easy because the tactics they have shown the family that the faction doesn't care about life. Since there has been an attempt on all their lives, the group has decided to play a deadly game of cat and mouse in order to at least bring a few members of this faction to justice.

The family has questions they would like answered. These questions have been increasing in number since their awakening, but no definite answers yet. Questions related to their gifts might receive answers after several events on earth happened all at the same time. These events are investigated and bring visitors to Lunar Sister to speak with the MacMurchaids. There are other things that happened recently they must find answers for since they seem to have relationship to the incidents on the Trans-Mars observatory and at the Lunar Observatory.

After a time of seemingly peace, events begin to happen. The MacMurchaids and their team at first don't know if the events are man-made or natural in origin. They find that the first event is of a universal nature. Since nature in the universe is not restricted to planets and much is still unknown about this type of nature, the team must proceed with caution. Will this first event and the subsequential events help increase the knowledge of how things work in the universe and maybe their home system? In the process of learning they find themselves rescuing others again.
