It was the quiet after the storm. I sat up in bed - what had awakened me? I tried to sit still to listen, but my heart was pounding. Saucy fun for the overly indulgent sporting gun. Fifty Shots at Game is a short parody filled with puns and wordplay that any field sports fan would enjoy. Innuendo to shoot down the heartiest of hearts and sternest of frowns.

Even while avoiding all the wedding nonsense and coddling Willodean, Bubba feels the need to support a friend, be he a loony or not. There's folks disappearing, murder, and mayhem at the Dogley Institute for Mental Well-Being. Armed with Precious, his faithful Bassett hound, and Ol' Green, his faithful Chevy truck, Bubba aims to do what he does best, and amble on through the mystery before someone goes to jail, or worse, gets themselves murdered most foully.

Sang Sorenson struggles with her growing feelings when the Academy boys take her in and draw her closer into their world. They work together to uncover the true secrets happening at Ashley Waters High School, where Principal Hendricks will stop at nothing to take them all down. Adding to their complications, Nathan's father shows up, and he's just as ruthless and violent as ever, beating up on Nathan. Sang offers Nathan refuge in her home, but Marie is fed up with the boys.

After going overboard and nearly drowning, Kayli regroups and joins Axel, Corey, Brandon, Marc, and Raven back on board the Lucienda. This time, she's brought reinforcements. Liam and Henry join the team in an all-out hunt for a killer. It can't be too hard; there's only so many places to hide on a cruise ship. But the number of suspects is climbing. Tensions are high, and everyone is on alert, but along the way, there's way too many distractions - very hot distractions. Kayli's done hiding her feelings. She's showing her hand, come what may.
