What happens when being a good employee and being the mom you want to be suddenly feel impossible at the same time?

For me, it was a day when my five-month-old daughter was sick, my husband was traveling, and I still had to leave my baby with my mom to go teach my classes. I knew she was safe and taken care of, but everything in me wanted to be home with her.

That experience became one of the most pivotal moments that pushed me to realize I needed another way to make money. I couldn’t just quit my job, we needed my income, but I knew I didn’t want working motherhood to always feel this way.

In this episode, I’m sharing how that moment led me to discover virtual assistant work and how building this new option eventually gave me the flexibility and control of my motherhood that I was looking for.
