On today’s episode, we are discussing one of the baddest beasts in all of New Japan history. Oh, wait that was last episode. Today we are discussing a guy that competed in the 2006 G1 Climax. He never really made a positive name for himself in New Japan but was able to compete in WWE for a number of years. Look, guys, I’m trying my best to hype everyone up, but let’s just get to the goddam show. Let’s talk about the man we all know and love as Yoshi Tatsu. That’s right, let’s look at Naofumi Yamamoto!
The G1 Climax is New Japan Pro Wrestling's elite summer tournament. Not everyone gets an opportunity to compete in the G1 Climax. Some wrestlers never appear, while some compete year in and year out. Every other week, host Ryan Neitzey will discuss the run of those wrestlers that have only competed in this exclusive tournament only once.
