In our last episode, we started learning about endometriosis, including some of the signs and symptoms, and why it can take people a long time to be diagnosed. Dr. Camille Ladanyi and Emelle Holmes-Drammeh are back for a second episode about endometriosis treatment options.

Dr. Ladanyi is an assistant professor in the UW Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon. Emelle is a physician assistant in the UW Health Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery clinic. Endometriosis is an incredibly common condition, with symptoms like pelvic pain, irregular bleeding, or pain during sex. Despite how common it is, and how disruptive the symptoms can be to people’s daily lives, people with endometriosis can often wait years for an official diagnosis.
