Jeremy provides an update on his progress with Liminal, an app he is working on. He discusses the idea of open sourcing the app and explains why he decided against it. He also talks about the market positioning of Liminal as an alternative to Slack and Discord, and the importance of features like easy forum switching and affordable pricing. Jeremy shares his thoughts on technical aspects such as namespacing, form objects, and the use of a guest user null object pattern. He explores the idea of allowing users to bring their own file storage and discusses the potential inclusion of direct messaging in the app. Jeremy reflects on the progress he has made and the importance of taking breaks to gain fresh perspective. He also provides an update on his time tracking and acknowledges that his workload may be unsustainable in the coming weeks.
