Martita Robbins, M. Ed., teacher career transition coach and former educator, interviews Nadine in this episode.
Nadine shares her journey of teaching in Jamaica and the US before transitioning out of the classroom. She discusses the importance of self-care and setting boundaries as an educator.
Now, Nadine runs her own business called High-Quality Educational Services, providing trauma-informed professional development and individualized education plans. She is working on a book about trauma.
Advice: Make sure you're staying or leaving teaching for the right reasons. Prioritize self-care to prevent burnout. Have a plan if you transition, but don't feel guilty about choosing what's best for you.
