  • Talk to Your Giant
    Apr 24 2026

Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Jason.

Today we’re in 1 Samuel 17, and the message is all about confidence, courage, and the power of what you say when you are facing something big. Goliath was huge. The problem was real. But the biggest difference between David and everyone else was not the size of the giant. It was the voice they listened to and the words they spoke.

All of Israel saw the giant and lost heart. They talked about how impossible it was. They saw themselves as too small, too weak, and not enough. But David spoke differently. He remembered what God had already done. He talked about the lion and the bear. He reminded himself and everyone around him that if God had been faithful before, God would be faithful again.

This episode is such a strong reminder that what you say matters. If you constantly describe your problems, your fears, and your limitations, you will start living small. But when you begin to speak what God says about you, that you are an overcomer, that God is with you, that He is your healer, provider, and strength, your confidence rises and your faith begins to move.

Pastor Scot and Pastor Jason challenge you to stop making your mountain bigger than your God. Do not tell God how big your giant is. Tell your giant how big your God is. Change your inner voice. Speak life. Speak victory. Speak faith. That confidence is not pride. It is trust in what God can do through you.

  • The SOS to Impossible Circumstances
    Apr 23 2026

Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly.

Today we’re in 1 Samuel 30:6, where David is facing one of the most overwhelming moments of his life. Everything had been taken, everyone around him was grieved, and even the people closest to him were talking about turning against him. But instead of staying crushed under the weight of it all, David did something powerful. He strengthened himself in the Lord his God.

This episode is all about what to do when life feels impossible, heavy, and overwhelming. David had every reason to quit, give up, or fall apart. He had been holding on to God’s promise for years, and now it looked like everything was falling apart right before breakthrough. But this moment became the turning point. Instead of staying in distress, David chose to build himself up in God.

Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly talk about what that can look like in real life. Sometimes strengthening yourself in the Lord means worship. Sometimes it means thanking God for what He has already done. Sometimes it means reminding yourself that God is still working behind the scenes, even when you do not yet see the answer. David did not build himself up in what he could do. He built himself up in who God is and what God could do.

This message is such a powerful reminder that you do not have to stay stuck in distress. You can talk to your soul. You can remind yourself that God has never failed you, never left you, and never stopped working on your behalf. What looks like the end may actually be right before breakthrough.

  • How to Get Rid of Stress
    Apr 22 2026

Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly.

Today we’re in Philippians 4:6-7, where the Bible reminds us not to be anxious about anything, but in every situation, with prayer, petition, and thanksgiving, to present our requests to God. And when we do, the peace of God guards our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. This episode is all about what to do with stress, worry, and anxiety.

So many times, when we feel overwhelmed, we take our stress sideways. We dump it on other people, replay it in conversations, or look for someone to validate how heavy it feels. But this scripture shows us a better direction. God never asked us to carry anxiety alone. He asked us to bring it to Him. When we cast it upward instead of outward, peace comes in.

Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly talk about the difference between dumping stress on people and seeking wise counsel. There is nothing wrong with asking for prayer or advice, but there is a big difference between asking for help and just spreading anxiety. God is the One who has the power to actually lift the burden, calm your heart, and guard your mind.

This episode is a reminder that when you hold on to stress, it eventually leaks out into the people around you. It affects your home, your mood, your relationships, and your peace. But when you give it to God with thanksgiving, you make room for His peace to stand guard over your thoughts and emotions.

  • Don’t Just Hear the Word, Do It
    Apr 21 2026

Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly.

Today we’re in James 1:22, where the Bible says, “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.” This episode is all about moving beyond hearing truth and actually living it.

God’s Word is not meant to make life harder. It is meant to make life better. Just like an owner’s manual helps a car last longer, the Word of God gives us instruction so we can live with more peace, freedom, strength, and blessing. When God tells us to forgive, love, give, wait, or trust Him, He is not trying to restrict us. He is trying to lead us into a better life.

Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly talk about how easy it is to hear the Word but then pick and choose only the parts we like. But real growth happens when we stop treating God’s Word like a buffet and start trusting that every instruction He gives is for our good. The challenge is not just to agree with the Word, but to do the Word.

This message is also a reminder that if God asks us to live a certain way, then through Him, we can. It may not always be easy, but God never calls us to something without also giving us grace and strength to walk it out. When you begin to live what God says, you start seeing the transformation, freedom, and blessing that come with obedience.

  • God's Faithfulness Helps You Win
    Apr 20 2026

Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly.

Today we’re in Psalm 33:4, where the Bible says, “For the word of the Lord is right and true. He is faithful in all He does.” This episode is all about the faithfulness of God and what it looks like to respond to that faithfulness with a life that trusts Him and follows Him.

God is not halfway faithful. He is faithful in all He does. He does not partly love you, partly forgive you, or partly provide for you. His Word is right, true, and dependable. That means when life feels uncertain, you can still anchor your heart in the truth that God is faithful, even when your circumstances do not yet look the way you want them to.

This episode also talks about the importance of not living double-minded. It is easy to praise God on Sunday but then spend the rest of the week living divided, doubtful, or disconnected from what His Word says. But when you really know how faithful God has been to you, it should awaken gratitude, obedience, and a desire to live differently. Not out of legalism, but out of love.

Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly remind us that living life at a higher level matters. God’s ways are better. Sin does not serve you. Bitterness, envy, selfishness, and compromise limit your life. But when you trust God’s faithfulness and live according to His truth, you step into a higher quality of life, peace, and purpose.

  • Your Identity Comes From God
    Apr 17 2026

Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Jason.

Today we’re in John 5:19, and this episode is all about identity. In a world where so many people are searching for who they are, this message reminds us that your true identity does not come from culture, family labels, past mistakes, or other people’s opinions. Your identity comes from God.

Pastor Scot and Pastor Jason talk about how purpose and identity are deeply connected. You cannot fully know what you are here to do until you know who you are. That is why Jesus said He only did what He saw His Father doing. He lived from a place of identity. He knew who He was, where He came from, and how He was called to respond to life.

This episode is a strong reminder that when you begin to look at Jesus, you begin to see the real you. The Word of God becomes a mirror that shows you who you are in Christ. You are not limited by your past, your upbringing, or the role other people tried to assign to you. You have been grafted into God’s family, and now His nature, His ways, and His truth are what define you.

When you set your mind on the things of God and begin to imitate Christ, your life starts to change. You become more loving, more peaceful, more confident, more disciplined, and more aligned with the purpose God designed for you. The more clearly you see Jesus, the more clearly you understand yourself.

  • Cancel the Debt
    Apr 16 2026

Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly.

Today we’re in Colossians 3:13-15, where the Bible reminds us to bear with one another, forgive one another, and let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts. This episode is all about what steals your peace and how forgiveness and love help you get it back.

So many people want peace, but they are holding on to bitterness, anger, frustration, and offense. It is hard for peace to rule your heart when unforgiveness is ruling it instead. This message is a reminder that peace is not just something you hope shows up. Peace has to be protected, and one of the biggest ways to protect it is by choosing forgiveness.

Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly talk about how love binds everything together and how love opens the door for peace to rule. Love is not self-serving, but it does bless your life. Bitterness, hatred, and unforgiveness may feel self-protective, but they do not actually serve you. They steal your joy, wear on your heart, and keep you stuck. Love and forgiveness, on the other hand, bring freedom, healing, and rest.

This episode is also a powerful reminder not to carry offense from one day into the next. Let it go before the sun goes down. Do not bring yesterday’s anger into tomorrow. When you choose to forgive and walk in love, peace becomes the ruler of your heart instead of stress, resentment, or hurt.

  • How to Live a Stress FREE Life
    Apr 15 2026

Good morning and welcome to Wake Up with Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly.

Today we’re in John 14:27, where Jesus says, “Peace I leave with you. My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives.” This episode is all about learning how to live with real peace instead of the temporary peace the world offers.

The world offers a false kind of peace. It tries to cover anxiety, stress, worry, and fear with distractions, addictions, and temporary fixes. But Jesus gives something deeper. He gives a peace that actually heals, restores, and steadies your heart in the middle of real life.

This message reminds us that stress often grows in the world of “what if.” What if this goes wrong? What if I run out? What if they leave? What if I fail? But faith talks differently. Faith says, “God will.” God will provide. God will come through. God will make a way. God will take care of me. When you shift from what if to God will, your heart begins to settle and peace starts to rise.

Pastor Scot and Pastor Holly also talk about how easy it is to lose peace when we chase the wrong things, like approval, money, comparison, perfection, and acceptance from people. But when you rest in what God says about you, that you are loved, chosen, seen, and equipped, those other things begin to lose their grip.

You do not have to let your heart be troubled. You can guard your thoughts, trust God, and live with a peace that the world cannot give and cannot take away.
