Today on Wake Up, we’re talking about refusing to accept the limitations that life tries to place on you and choosing to believe God for more.

In Joshua 14, Caleb makes a bold declaration. Even after decades of waiting, even after battles, delays, and disappointment, he says he is just as strong now as he was when God first promised him the land. Then he says something powerful. “Give me this mountain.”

Caleb refused to settle. He did not accept aging, time, or circumstances as reasons to lower his expectation. He remembered what God said, and he stood on it.

Many believers know what God promises but quietly accept sickness, lack, discouragement, or defeat as “just how life is.” But God’s Word says we are blessed going in and blessed going out. It says He came so we could have life and have it more abundantly.

The enemy often wins ground when we don’t know the Word for ourselves. That’s why daily time in Scripture matters. When life hits, when fear shows up in the quiet moments, when you’re alone with your thoughts, you need God’s Word planted deep inside you so you can speak truth over your situation.

You don’t just survive storms. You thrive through them. God has not stopped working in your life. What He promised then, He is still faithful to fulfill now.

Don’t settle. Don’t shrink your faith. Don’t accept limits that God never gave you. Speak up. Stand strong. And go after everything God said you could have.
