      Nov 30 2023

What benefits and advantages do diverse teams bring, and how can a company ensure they are selecting from a truly diverse talent pool?

Is it more important to acquire talent from different backgrounds, or to select the people who align with the companies value and mission, even if it means a less diverse workforce?

Join us in Episode 3 of Workplace in Progress where Nathan Thomas sits down with Scarlett Allen-Horton of Harperfox Partners, Brandon Van Blerk from Tether, and Neil Campbell from Cambridge Design Partners to ask these questions and gather a variety of thoughts and opinions.

Is it a problem if 11 out of 13 employees are white men if they're all driven to push the business in the right direction? How do you hire people with desired characteristics ethically? Listen in and gain some fresh insight and potentially a new perspective on these topics and more in episode 3!

    • Mapping out the Future - With MapsPeople
      Aug 1 2023

In our last episode of WORK(PLACE) IN PROGRESS we saw Tom, Nathan, Jade, and Mike discuss what would make their ideal workplace.

This episode has Nathan chatting with Josh Jones from RICOH Europe, and Christian Christensen and Christian Frederiksen from MapsPeople about the powerful functionality of developing indoor maps for organisations.

Consider your new starters, visitors, and employees from other locations. How can you expect them to know their way around your facilities? Imagine if you could bring that Google Maps experience indoors and provide a clean seamless way to navigate to, and through, your workplaces.

This emerging technology could completely reshape the way you interact with your workplaces. Tune in to hear insights from industry experts and watch a live demonstration of the platform in action!

    • What is Your Perfect Office?
      Jun 14 2023

Welcome to Work(Place) in Progress - a new RICOH Digital Experience podcast covering everything we can think of about the workplace! By listening to this podcast we hope to help you learn about how your organisation can improve the workplace experience to provide fulfilment through work to your employees.

In this episode Tom, Nathan and Jade from RDx chat with guest speaker, Mike Baddeley from Ricoh Europe about how the workplace has evolved over the last decade, including the rapid changes we have seen since 2020.

Mike has a wealth of experience in workplace change and optimisation, having taken part in Ricoh’s own “New Ways of Working'' initiative to help transform their locations from cubicles and executive offices, to open floorplans, hot-desking, and removing the neck tie!

Join us as we discuss our anecdotes and speculations about the world of work from a group of individuals with greatly different workplace backgrounds.

Listen as we break down the way hybrid has impacted the workplace, how organisations should work to understand their employees needs before implementing new or changed policies, and share your thoughts as we answer questions like:

      • Would you work in a campus style environment?
      • Would you take a pay cut to have an on-site gym and free food?
      • Does your office provide a better working experience than your home?
      • What is the ideal workspace for you?

We also want to extend our thanks for listening to this episode and to the team that helped pull it all together! Shout outs go to Nathan Thomas, Jade Bliss, and Mike Baddely for being great guests for this session. A shout out also goes to Theodora Astepho for helping produce this podcast.
