Together, they discuss identifying the root causes of emotional struggles, replacing lies with God's truth, and finding healing, freedom, and renewed purpose through Christ.About Bill BergerBill Berger is a practical theologian and pastor with over 25 years of congregational leadership and eight years of university teaching. He is the founding pastor of All Saints Community, an online and hybrid faith community welcoming all who "believe, doubt, and seek."Currently a PhD candidate at the Oxford Centre for Mission Studies, Bill is passionate about helping people connect with God through authentic faith, thoughtful questions, and spiritual formation. He speaks widely on missional theology and leadership and is developing a discipleship movement to address challenges facing today's church. Write down the first things that come to mind. If they are condemning thoughts, they are not from the Lord. If they are beautiful words, they are from the Lord. This is how God feels about you. This is not a time that God will give you disciplinary words, that is not what God does with this question. Ignore the 2nd thoughts that are you disputing that you heard from the Lord. Ignore the 3rd thoughts that are the enemy telling you that you did not hear from God.Spend some time thanking God for what He has done for you, and sharing with the Lord what you love about Him.Is there anything that you feel is hindering you from living the life you know God has intended you to live? If so, what do you feel God wants you to do about it?What is my word for the year? With this you can ask the Lord for a scripture or a song or both.Come up with 3 personal Goals for this year that you feel like God is challenging you with.Is there unforgiveness or bitterness with anyone that needs to be resolved? If so, ask God to help you resolve it and set up a meeting to work it out.In what areas of your life has the enemy been consistently pursuing you?
