  • BITCH / CUNT / TWAT / TWIRL
    May 18 2026

This one is for the ballroom kids, the circuit demons, the late-night lovers, and everybody that knows a death drop absolutely counts as cardio.

I wanted to put together something chaotic, glamorous, sweaty, and a little filthy for Pride season — so BITCH / CUNT / TWAT / TWIRL was born.

This 22-minute Summer Preview Pack is my first full look into the next wave of music I’ve been building behind the scenes. Inside this mix I’m previewing six unreleased tracks:

    BITCH
    CUNT
    TWAT
    TWIRL
    MOTHER
    WERK
    SLAY

Sonically this lives somewhere between progressive house, ballroom energy, mainstage euphoria, and afterhours attitude. Think chrome, pink lasers, blackout shades at sunrise, runway arrogance, and emotional damage hidden under really expensive boots.

I wanted this mix to feel like walking into a dark room and immediately hearing somebody yell:
    “CATEGORY IS…”

…and suddenly your life depends on the next eight counts.

This is sweat on the dancefloor.
This is lipstick on the cigarette filter.
This is hands in the air while your knees give out.
This is queer joy at dangerous BPMs.

    Welcome to summer.

    — Boy Joey

  • APRIL! -- Its Kiki Time!
    Apr 9 2026

April doesn't wait for permission — and neither does this mix.

On This Episode of Velvet Nation, Boy Joey brings you right into the heat a set that refuses to sit still.

From the infectious groove of Mau P's Amsterdam-born opener to the nostalgia of DJ Sammy's Heaven reborn as a festival anthem, this episode moves through euphoric valleys and peak-hour highs without ever losing the thread.

Gwen Stefani gets remixed twice (because once was never enough), Eric Prydz calls you to the floor, and somewhere between Pink Floyd's walls and Ariana Grande's heartbreak, you realize you've been dancing for an hour and you don't want to stop.

    That's the Velvet Nation effect!

  • Spring Has Returned
    Mar 29 2026

Spring is in the air, and Velvet Nation is back to bring you to the floor. The days are growing warmer, the birds have returned to the trees, and the world is waking up again — and when it does, we dance.

In this episode, we revisit a classic sound, reborn for today's ears. The world may be chaotic, but here we are united — in love, in music, and on the floor.

  • In Dance We Trust
    Mar 14 2026

This episode, In Dance We Trust, is a deep dive into the heartbeat of the dance floor — a three-hour journey built on groove, rhythm, and the kind of energy that only exists when bodies move together under the same lights.

We start in a place of uplift and nostalgia with classic house energy before sliding deeper into the underground. Along the way the set travels through tech house, afro-driven rhythms, acid textures, and driving club cuts that keep the momentum building from the first beat to the final drop.

This mix is about surrendering to the music — that moment when the bass takes over, the crowd becomes one pulse, and the outside world disappears for a while. It’s sweaty, hypnotic, and built for late nights when nobody wants the music to stop.

So wherever you’re listening — the gym, the car, or the dance floor — turn it up and remember the one rule that always holds true:

    In dance we trust. 🎧🔥

  • Regression Pop - Session 2
    Jan 28 2026

Regression Pop — Session 2 goes deeper into the emotional pull of pop — the songs that didn’t just soundtrack our lives, but rewired them. This is where nostalgia gets louder, the beats hit harder, and the feelings stop asking permission.

In this episode of Velvet Nation, I push further into high-energy pop, emotional dancefloor moments, and those tracks that blur the line between joy and ache. It’s messy in the right ways — music that makes you want to move while it drags old memories back into the light.

This isn’t about pretending the past was perfect. It’s about reclaiming it, dancing with it, and letting it fuel who you are now.

    Regression Pop continues.

Turn it up. Don’t look back.

  • Regression Pop - Session 1
    Jan 21 2026

This session is about going backwards to move forward.

Regression Pop — Session 1 is a journey into the songs that shaped us before we learned how to guard ourselves — the hooks that hit harder, the lyrics that felt personal, the moments where pop music wasn’t just entertainment, but survival.

In this episode of Velvet Nation, I lean into euphoric pop, emotional dance cuts, and late-night anthems that tap straight into memory and feeling. It’s nostalgic without being soft, vulnerable without losing the beat — music for dancing through your feelings instead of running from them.

Think hands-up melodies, cathartic drops, and that quiet moment when a track reminds you who you were… and who you still are.

    This is Regression Pop.
    Session 1.
Press play. Let yourself feel it.
