Parmi les monuments du rock sudiste, Lynyrd Skynyrd demeure l’un des derniers géants encore debout. Malgré les tragédies, les changements de line-up et les années qui passent, le groupe continue d’arpenter les scènes du continent américain avec une énergie bluffante.

À la guitare, Rickey Medlocke incarne cette transmission précieuse. Ancien membre de la toute première formation en 1971, avant de fonder Blackfoot, Medlocke est revenu dans le giron de Skynyrd en 1996. Depuis, il s’est imposé comme l’âme musicale du groupe, délivrant des solos habités et une présence scénique toujours captivante. Sur scène, il mène la charge avec intensité, notamment lors de Free Bird, où ses envolées guitaristiques réveillent l'esprit originel du groupe.

Ce dernier live n’est pas qu’un simple concert de “nostalgie” : c’est une célébration vivante de l’histoire du rock.
