Today in our lesson we focus on Patrick. Patrick’s legacy has been reduced to a celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. But history reveals a life of turmoil, buoyed by the Biblical perspectives of Joseph, Job and Apostle Paul.

In our last episode we discussed how looks can be deceiving and that while Ruth’s manner of pursuing Boaz may seem odd to us, it was the cultural norm and they were in fact “Playing by the book.” Today on our program, Charlene Perkins will continue with our fourth and final devotional series on the Book of Ruth, entitled, “The Long View.” Charlene is a member of Providence Church.
