On this week’s Shite Talk, we push back on the backlash and explain why people are getting Shelby Oaks completely wrong, and why we think it is actually a cracking indie horror.

Along the way we spiral into reality TV trauma with America’s Next Top Model, talk early thoughts on Lee Cronin taking on The Mummy, get curious about Spider-Man Noir, debate the latest chaos from The Traitors Ireland and dip into expectations for Welcome to Derry.

In this episode, we’re heading to the local cafe to discuss the 2013 cult comedy Coffee Town. We’re breaking down why this "workplace" comedy deserves more love, Josh Groban’s comedic timing, and why every freelance writer feels seen by this movie.

🚨 WE HAVE A BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! 🚨

After nearly a year of stunting, jumping buses, and surviving the post-apocalypse, we are making a major change. This will be our final episode on traditional audio platforms. We'll be taking a bit of a break to figure out how best to transition fully over to Youtube but just like the Terminator, we'll be back.

Where to find us moving forward:

• Subscribe to our YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@too_oldforthisshite
• Follow the New Journey: All future episodes, including our upcoming deep dives into action and comedy classics, will be video-only.

Thank you to our loyal listeners who have been with us for the past year. We aren't quitting; we’re just upgrading the experience. See you on the screen!

This week the lads are heading to the post-apocalyptic wasteland of 1989 as they take on Cyborg ,the low budget Van Damme vehicle that somehow launched a franchise and cemented JCVD as an action icon. Is it a misunderstood cult classic or just gloriously, magnificently mad? The lads break it all down.
