Hello Lanter Corps! We have come to the end of the story in Rushville and of Hal's murder. We have also come to the end of the season. The hosts have mixed feelings about the pacing and story details. Our listeners have other thoughts.

John learns from Sinestro, that Noah is a Manhunter. Noah broke him out and had him forge a Lantern to use. Sinestro wants off that island and tries to bribe John with the Lantern and the Halogram with being brought back to life. Both fail.

John returns and literally falls into Noah's trap. Noah is fighting the Manhunter programing. He wants to have a normal life. But the programing is telling him to do more. John tells him he can move past the programing. Noah tells John he killed Hal. He gives up the ring and lantern. He asks John to kill him after the game.

John talks with Kerry. She admits to killing Hal to protect Noah. John says Noah can be good. He is going to let Noah live and let Kerry off for killing Hal. Noah wins the game and chooses Nebraska and a normal life.

John calls Guy and tells him he is going to be a free lance Lantern. Guy can have the stars, but he gets the Earth. John and the Halogram say their goodbyes. John charges the ring with his own oath and files.

Hello Lantern Corps! We may be in 2026, but we dive into Hal Jordan's past. We see who and what shaped him into the man we know. We also investigate his relationship with Kerry and John.

Both Hal's father and grandfather were pilots and continued the legacy. Hal was taught to fight for and stand up for himself by his father. But for all the positive things passed down through the Jordan Boys there was something else. Hal's grandfather and father dealt with pain and depression. They each left a safe of things to pass down. They then took to the air and didn't return. They took their lives in ways that protected their families and legacy. Now we have an idea of why Hal was the way he was. He left a safe for John before he died. But he didn't leave a note, other than the Halogram.

This is John, Halogram and us questioning Hal's death. Did he kill himself and was it covered up by the murder angle. Or did he let someone he knew kill him to end the pain. We have questioned why he stopped backing up the Halogram in 2006. Could it be, he wanted to preserve himself before he slipped too much into the state we see him in during 2016?

The Halogram can evolve and grow and seeing the legacy Hal left behind was hard for him. But he was impressed with Kerry and the relationship Hal had with her. Hal even praises John for being able to project him with the ring off. They open the vault and find a go bag and a paper bag with a portable wormhole.

The wormhole takes them to the ruins of Antaan's planet. Zoe Manhunter caused a war between the people of the planet. A fear toxin was spread and people jumped off of their city in the air to their deaths. John spots an island and a canoe. The trip over is good for bonding between John and the Halogram. But the fear toxin gets to John. He almost kills himself but is stopped by the Halogram. They make it to the island and find Sinestro.

Hello Lantern Corps! 10 years have passed since the battle in Rushville. There is major fallout. Hal took the fall and has been in prison for all that time until recently. The Guardians created a new ring and made Guy Gardner the Green Lantern. The people who could leave Rushville did. The ones who stayed are bitter. John has reconciled with his brothers. He and his younger brother, Marcus, have started a successful architecture firm building saferooms and safe shelters for the crazy world.

John is about to close on a deal with his city and the military to build multiple shelters for the town. But his mom calls and convinces him Hal want to reconcile. John reluctantly heads to Rushville. Hal moved to Rushville. He has been dating Kerry and trying to make amends with the townspeople. But He didn't ask John to come. He is not going to apologize to him. He tells John not to let anyone know he was there.

John just gets home when he gets the call from Sherrif Kane that Hal is dead. He returns and hears from Kerry about Hal. He does not tell her or others he was there. But the waitress at the café knows. She was the little girl he handed her watch to after the battle. She seeks him out and wants reparations for the damage done to her family or she will tell about the meeting of Hal & John.

Hal has a storage unit with a voice activated box in it. They need his live voice to open it. John activated the Green Lantern signal to call Guy. He beats up Billy and other townies. His nice dinner with Kerry and Noah is interrupted and she must arrest him. Guy shows up and they talk. John says Guy owes him and he wants Hal in uniform and with his ring for the funeral.

Guy comes through. John reads the eulogy Hal wrote to a crowd of three, Kerry, Carol Ferris (Hal's former love), and himself. Later, John digs up Hal and takes the ring. He taps the ring and unlocks 5% and activated the Halogram to help him.
