    • That Spirit Is Going Down Fighting
      Oct 21 2023

In this Season 2 Finale, LaVonne and I will be going deep into explaining how the battle we have with rejection is not with people, but with the unseen spirit of rejection that is behind the actions of people.

Rejection is one of the most painful experiences we can go through. It can leave us feeling hurt, dejected, and unworthy. But it's important to understand that the battle we have with rejection isn't really with the people we are in a relationship with.

This spirit of rejection is a force that works against us and tries to keep us from fulfilling our purpose and destiny. It whispers lies into our minds, telling us that we're not good enough or that we don't deserve to be loved. And when we experience rejection from others, it's often because this spirit is working through them to try to reinforce those lies.

So how do we fight against this spirit of rejection? First, we need to recognize that it's there. We need to be aware of the lies it's telling us and the actions it's manipulating others to take.

Next, we need to combat those lies with the truth of who we are in Christ. We need to remind ourselves that we are loved, chosen, and valuable in God's eyes. We need to renew our minds with the truth of His Word and fill our hearts with His love.

And finally, we need to forgive those who have rejected us. We need to release them from any hold the spirit of rejection may have on them and trust God to heal our hearts.

In the final episode of season 2, we come face to face with the spirit of rejection. We recognize its lies and choose to combat them with God's truth. And in doing so, we are able to overcome the rejection we have faced and move forward into our destinies.

So remember, the battle we have with rejection isn't really with people. It's with the unseen spirit of rejection. But with God's help, we can overcome it and walk confidently in His love and purpose for our lives.

Leave us a comment and let us know what relationship challenges you’ve faced when dealing with rejection and ways in which Satan has tried to get you to attack people rather than him.

    • They Are Not Like Us
      Oct 7 2023

Rejection is a universal human experience that can elicit emotions from disappointment to devastation. However, societal expectations of masculinity often lead men to suppress or hide their emotions, making it more challenging to process and deal with rejection and making it extremely difficult to foster good, healthy, intimate relationships. Bringing two together to make one is difficult enough, but, the disparities that exist between how men and women handle emotions, communicate and generally show up for the relationship, makes it even tougher.

In this episode of To Hell With Rejection, LaVonne and I, along with our guest host, Harold Merrell,  explore why men struggle with rejection, showing their emotions and have difficulty communicating, and how these impact their relationships.
