      The original plan was one episode about the entire Sarah Jane series. How naive we were.


      So here is part 1 of hopefully a Tracy Beaker style ongoing saga of everything Sarah Jane (and Sarah Jane adjacent...)


      Technically, this is the finale of season 6!!! And how lovely that we get to end the season with possibly the best children's drama of the 2000s - argue in the comments. We loved every second of making this episode and we can't wait to share our love of The Sarah Jane Adventures with you.

      You know how much we love to revisit Ragdoll productions and the work of Anne Wood and Andrew Davenport. It's that time again to "review" something that is just plain and uncomplicatedly GOOD.

      The loveliness of the mostly ambient clips I've selected might well send some of you to sleep, so we've included some tangents just to keep things interesting. These include: our childhood teddy bears, our infant reactions to shampoo, an embarrassing story about Meg's dad involving a bathtub, and the politics of Pokemon cards.
