Music has always been a part of my life, and now more than ever, it serves as my source of strength and comfort.Rediscovering My Passion for MusicAfter a long break from playing, I picked up my guitar again, a Fender Acoustic that my brother helped fix. The strings were too high, making it difficult for me to play, but with a little adjustment, I found myself strumming again. This simple act of playing has become a form of therapy for me. Music Matters**Emotional Healing:** Music has the power to heal. It allows me to express my feelings and connect with my spirituality. **Community Connection:** Playing worship music helps me feel connected to my faith and the community, even when I’m alone. **Personal Growth:** Each practice session is a reminder of my progress, helping me to see that I can improve and overcome obstacles.Facing Medical ChallengesA few months ago, I received the news that I have a brain aneurysm. Doctors advised against treatment due to the risks involved. Instead, they suggested monitoring it closely. This news weighed heavily on me, leading to feelings of isolation and depression. The Emotional Toll**Understanding the Diagnosis:** When you look fine on the outside, it’s hard for others to understand the emotional and psychological battles you face. **Finding Support:** It can be challenging to seek help when you feel alone. I focus on easy songs that lift my spirits. Recently, I learned to play "Because He Lives," an old hymn that resonates deeply with me.
