    Sep 27 2024

My take on the impermanent nature of all things.

The truth in surrender and ultimately letting go.

Because the ultimate truth is that everything that arises has to pass away. Everything.

    Everything is constantly changing.

Observing nature and it to be one of our greatest teachers.

Noticing that a lot of what we experience within happens externally in nature.

    Can you trust the flow?

    Aug 20 2024

Very stoked to announce EP 7 of the WHOLElistic podcast with German Psychologist + Rapid transformational therapist Pia Klaus!

On this ep we speak about my experience with having a hypnotherapy session with her + how it created huge positive shifts for me in my life immediately after we completed the session.

How Pia could guide my subconscious mind to tell me what past experiences linking way back to childhood were blocking + effecting my life up until that point. How past events were influencing my choices + how they were recreating exactly what I DIDN’T want to happen in my life. Ironically the SAME experience I saw as a child. Repeating the same patterns over + over. I had had enough of the same old story.

The subconscious mind is responsible for 95% of our actions + the conscious mind is responsible for 5%. This was a shocking realisation once I became aware of how I was allowing my subconscious to dictate my reality. (Totally normal, we’re human) BUT I chose to take my power back + take back control.

Since my session, the shifts are unreal. A huge gift has been the awareness to the stories I’ve had on repeat in my mind that weren’t serving me, so now I have the power over whether or not I allow them to dictate my future. It’s a big fat NAAA from me!

We speak about Pia’s story of getting really sick + how that experience lead her to an Ayurveda retreat in India + a big focus was on mindfulness. After 2 weeks of focusing on rewiring her mindset, her body started rapidly healing itself.

How that showed her that her mind has the biggest influence on her body + this is something that really resonated with me + I believe wholeheartedly.

How this transformed her work as a Psychologist + how she now chooses to help others.

From connecting, it’s got us so excited that we are going to be offering services, combining our expertise to help rewrite blocks that limit our progress, success + potential!

    Lucid Lymph!

In this episode I am lucky enough to sit down and chat with the queen of lymphatics Megan Burke.

I didn't understand the impact of poor lymphatic flow until I began to have issues myself, swelling, edema, low energy, and inability to process and remove toxins efficiently. This lead to symptoms of bloating, fluid retention, and staying ill for far longer than I should. These were just some of the symptoms I experienced.

After seeing Megan for treatment and the profound results I gained afterwards, I can't help but want to scream from the rooftops how amazing the results are and to have the desire to share with others and educate about -

What the lymphatic system is in layman's terms

What the benefits are of receiving therapy and how often someone should receive it

How we can support ourselves on a daily and weekly basis at home tending to the lymphatic system

What some of the signs are that someone's lymphatic system may not be functioning properly

Why we aren't educated enough on the importance of this system and how crucial it is to look after it

How the mind/body connection plays a role in regards to the thoughts we think, the emotions we experience, and memories we hold in our bodies that could impact the health of our lymphatic system

My lived experience with changes in my body due to past experiences in the lymph and what I did about it.

    Enjoy! x

    Episode 5 with Kate Cooper

Introducing Ep 5 of the WHOLElistic Podcast!!!

She’s taken a hiatus over the last 9 months; but I couldn’t be more excited about this one and I’m back with enormous amounts of passion, motivation, drive as I continue to walk forward on the path that I’m here to walk with greater purpose.

What’s so special about this ep, is it’s with my dear friend @katecooper_medicalintuitive who I’ve had the blessing to be apart of her life for the past 16 years. I’ve watched her grow and evolve first studying and completing a Health Science Degree in Chinese Medicine in Acupuncture. To starting a successful practice here in Wanaka; to taking her skillset to Sumner Chch and opening a Wellness Centre.

I cannot help but scream from the rooftops about how she’s defied all odds by completely clearing her Multiple sclerosis!

I am so inspired to share my story of working with her and how she helped me heal a numb shin I had been suffering with since November last year in 24 hours all via distal healing!

Kate helped me identify the limiting beliefs that were stuck within my body that I was subconsciously replaying over and over that were holding me back from walking my path and keeping me stuck.

Kate explains it in a way that is easy for anyone to understand using a mix of science and energetics.

She’s uses a mix of acupuncture, NIS (Neurological Integration System), Honohono (Maori healing) and intuition.

This one you will not want to miss! To follow along the journey -

  • When The Body Says NO!
    Aug 12 2023

In this episode, I speak to Nina Kennett - Emotional Body Therapist + Coach, client + friend of mine around-

    • The Mind/Body Connection

    • Nina's journey around her own chronic pain + how she healed it using emotional release techniques to heal.

    • The story of how we connected through Wanaka Body mums and bubs + how what started as a way to connect mothers after; in my opinion- one of the greatest initiations of their lives- motherhood. To help them find connection + confidence in their own skin again + reconnection to self.

    • Nina + I began working closely together to find ways of managing her chronic pain that was unexplained after seeing countless doctors, and pain specialists who were unable to give her any answers, she took the reigns + took her healing into her own hands. This meant delving deeper into her own emotional history as to why events like losing her mother to cancer at a young age + the suppression of that manifested in the body as chronic pain/ sleep issues/ emotional reactivity.

    • What she did to fully heal the chronic pain + her journey to using pain as power to become an Emotional Body Therapist + to help others heal too.

    • My journey around losing my cycle for 2.5 years. Countless MRIs, unexplained symptoms/blood results/doctors not having answers, taking the journey into my own hands as Nina did. Understanding that it was ultimately heartbreak that led to shut down/suppression/numbing + finding a Chinese Medicine Dr that released the emotion with acupuncture + giving me my cycle back! WOW.

      • The deep understanding at an experiential level that the BODY HOLDS THE SCORE + how we use our journey thus far to help heal others + SO much more! It's a banger that you won't want to miss! Enjoy x

  • Sensational Relations- Nourishing the nervous system + the living being as a whole
    May 23 2023

I’m SO stoked to release Ep 3 of the WHOLElistic poddy! This is a special one that I hold close to my heart with my somatic coach Verena from @sensational_relations this a truly insightful chat that I feel would benefit many people tuning into.

    We dive into-

•Verena’s journey + what lead her into this work. How her digestive issues, anxiety, up + down emotions, back pain, sleep issues found her seeking relief in various places that manifested from stress. This ultimately lead her down this path to help herself + then to share with others.

•Plant medicine + creating a relationship + bond with plants. The medicine in slowing down enough to be present with it + the paradox in integrating plant medicine ceremonies “we are actually getting there faster by slowing things down” + how this relates to the way we live our lives. The gift they give of awareness + ultimately deep release.

•Nature connection, among other modalities as a portal for healing. Amazon plant medicine in Peru.

    • What somatic coaching actually is- which is not to be confused with somatic therapy or therapy in general. Looking at the living body in it’s wholeness.

•The difference between talk therapy + somatic coaching. Helping us to get out of the head + into the body. To rewire neural pathways through feeling sensations in the body.

    • What is the nervous system + how do we regulate it? With what tools?• How I healed my nervous system + anxiety. Using the body to speak to us through sensation without the thinking brain.

•Once we have learn the foundations of the nervous system regulation we can work with sexual embodiment. Learning embodied safety- this is coming home to yourself. How accessing pleasure/ life force energy/ sexual energy being apart of our overall health + how carrying shame makes us sick. Authentic pleasure in the body signals safety, energy release that manifests from sexual pleasure from my lived experience. How learning anatomy + how different parts are connected to different organs. Think cervix + Yum.• How past experiences can keep our nervous systems stuck + disconnected from the present + SO much more!

Link in bio. Let me know what you think! Enjoy! X
