Lost in a freezing fog along the rugged western coast of Ireland, American college student Michael (Xolo Maridueña) stumbles upon a lonely old tavern glowing in the darkness. Inside, the fire is warm, the ale is extraordinary, and the locals are... a little strange. Michael strikes up a conversation with Callum (Graham McTavish), a grizzled Scottish cabbie who offers to tell him a true story about a mysterious young woman he picked up outside a hospital many years ago. But as Callum’s haunting tale unfolds, an old bell keeps tolling, the crowd begins to thin, and Michael starts to wonder exactly what kind of place he’s wandered into.

From the Emmy Award-winning team at Bang Zoom! Studios, THE STRANGE THING ABOUT THE TAVERN is a supernatural audio drama about lost souls, unfinished journeys, and a final drink at the end of the road.

The tension reaches a breaking point. Jimmy has returned, not for a reunion, but for a reckoning.

As Jimmy and Julia face off, the dark truth about their childhood, the death of their brother William, and their parents, as well as the mysterious passing of Julia’s husband, Thomas, comes to light. Betrayals are confessed, and motives are questioned: When Jimmy ran away from home, or did Julia stay out of fear, or was it to secure the Vanhorn family inheritance?

Caught in the crossfire of this bitter sibling rivalry is Samantha. But as Julia’s parenting takes a sinister turn towards the abusive, and the threat of a night in the basement, a new voice emerges from the shadows. Samantha is not alone....

She didn't want this to happen.
