We are back in the Alliance universe. We did an episode with Nero, and now we are moving to King, Nero's bestie. He is hot, funny, dirty, and honestly super duper bossy. I laughed out loud many times reading this book. Loved both King and Savannah. Their dynamic is amazing. The story line is great. I will be returning for any other books made in this universe.

Morgan calls this the adult dangerous sexy version of How to Train Your Dragon. This book series is the current IT book and it did not disappoint. I can't remember the last time I read a book this long in such a short amount of time. I literally couldn't put it down. This book has everything: family, friendship, danger, thrills, love, death.....and Rebecca Yarros put it all together in possibly one of the best books I have ever read.

This week's read is by an author new to us and she most certainly did not disappoint. Jillian read Author Kat Singleton's Black Ties & White Lies which is book one in the Black Tie Billionaires series. Book two drops tomorrow and we are absolutely here for it! This is a billionaire fake fiance, ex-douche-bag boyfriend's older brother, grumpy sunshine, first meeting ZING, spicy to the millionth degree, FANTASTIC book.

Also, there's a great rant expressing our opinion on cancel culture in the book world. We'll just say TikTok struck a nerve and all we have to say is: My fellow "Book People", Do better!
