À propos de ce contenu audio

The Siren is a creator led media network founded to combat fascism and defend the values of American democracy through the analysis and discussion of current events and calls to action.

Through fearless reporting, bold truth-telling, and unapologetic calls to action, we refuse to sit back while our rights are gutted, our voices are silenced, and our future is auctioned off to the highest bidder.

Instead, we’re calling out the abuse of power and relentless attacks on our democracy wherever they appear. But it’s not enough to just talk about what’s going on. This moment demands going a step further.

The goal of The Siren is not just to analyze the news, but to ignite action.

We turn outrage into direction. We organize calls to stop the passing of dangerous legislation. We spotlight the next generation of Democratic leadership. All while mobilizing around the most pressing issues of our time.

We don’t both-sides tyranny. We expose it and we fight it.

    • Trump's Radical National Security Strategy: Every American Needs to Know It.
      Dec 12 2025

Trump’s new National Security Strategy calls for a radical shift from longstanding American foreign policy and global leadership as we know it. It returns us to a dangerous world of spheres of influence, grounded in imperialism and unilateralism. In a nutshell, it turns away from the alliances and strategies that have brought us peace and security through diplomacy, and embarks upon a new world of independent action and militarism. It’s a strategy like none we’ve seen since the 19th century.

Joel Rubin breaks it all down, right here on The Siren Network.

    • Erika Kirk Thinks NYC Women Have Daddy Issues
      Dec 12 2025

In this episode, we unpack Erica Kirk’s unhinged claim that NYC women voted for Zohran Mamdani because we’re “looking for daddies.” The same crowd that worships “Daddy Trump” now thinks we’re the ones with daddy issues? Please. NYC women vote for policy, affordability, and reality, not patriarchal fantasies.

We also dig into the trad-wife industrial complex: Katie Miller’s increasingly cringe talk-show circuit, Pete Hegseth’s wife acting like an unofficial Pentagon PR chief, and the ongoing attempt to rebrand fascism as cute, domestic, and God-approved. Spoiler: no amount of soft lighting and cutesy questions about their favorite TV shows is saving that storyline.

And finally, Sydney Sweeney’s chaotic PR cleanup tour, from her American Eagle “good genes” ad to her non-apology and now her sudden attempt at a rebrand, contrasted with Sabrina Carpenter’s instant “take that racist shit down” when the Trump admin used her music in their sick ICE propaganda. One woman named the issue. One continues to dance around it.

    • Trump Refuses To Release Footage Showing Double Strike Attack on Caribbean Boat
      Dec 12 2025

Last week, Donald Trump was asked whether he would release the “double-tap” war crimes footage, to which he said he had “no problem” with making the footage available to the public. This prompted many members of Congress to rightly call on Trump to release the footage, so that a proper investigation may be held.

But today, Trump sang a completely different tune, telling reporter Rachel Scott “I didn’t say that,” when asked about his statement last week. He then proceeded to call ABC “fake news.”

It begs the question: Is Trump trying to cover up the latest seismic scandal of his presidency, an alleged murder tape showing the U.S. military carrying out an illegal strike, or is he simply senile?

Joe and Cosima discuss all this and more, right here on The Siren Network.
