Now the two face a multitude of women throwing themselves at Ben, though a new mom isn't what Junior wants. But Junior has more to worry about than his father's dates -- the little troublemaker might have met his match in Trixie Young (Ivyann Schwan), a small girl with a big chip on her shoulder."

Stars: Michael Oliver, John Ritter, Laraine Newman Amy Yasbeck.

⚠️ Note: We also had some technical issues on this one! We tried a new recording website, and unfortunately, there were some delays and sound glitches. We apologize in advance for any audio hiccups and appreciate your understanding.

  • Episode 158: "Baby's Day Out" (1994)
    May 30 2025

    Welcome Back Radical Ones! ⚡️

This week on the show as part of our Robebration (that’s right, our full-on Rob celebration!) Ryan and Rob are taking a stroll down memory lane with another one of our Movie Geek’s favorite flicks: "Baby’s Day Out" from 1994!

We’re diving into skyscraper shenanigans, pigeon-packed park chaos, and yes...that unforgettable gorilla scene that still lives rent-free in our minds. But does this baby-powered comedy really deserve all the hate it got? Often compared to "Home Alone", we break down the similarities, challenge the critics, and revisit the now-iconic on-air clash between Siskel and Ebert. Was it doomed from the start going head-to-head with "The Lion King" at the box office? So, grab your binkies, Radical Ones — we’re going on an adventure with Bink himself!

"Nine-month-old Baby Bink proves to be more than a match for a trio of bumbling kidnappers, escaping and leading the criminal crew on a hilarious slapstick chase!

Stars: Lara Flynn Boyle, Joe Mantegna, Joe Pantoliano, Brian Haley and Cynthia Nixon

  • ThunderCats Review: 3:109 & 3:110 "The Circus Train" & "The Last Day" (1988)
    May 9 2025

    Welcome Back Bunglers! ⚡

It's time for more kitty cat fun with your Radical Retro Brothers! This week, we welcome a brand-new Bungler to the ThunderCats family and read a wonderful message that truly made our day. Listener Tim also asks a purr-fectly thought-provoking question: Why do we think ThunderCats has such a strong gay following?

Then it's on to the Season 3 finale two episodes! In the first episode, a bizarre traveling circus rolls into Third Earth, headlined by the mysterious Merna - allegedly "the most talented female mutant in the galaxy" - on her dramatic and highly suspicious farewell tour. Wilykat gets hypnotized and stows away with Captain Bragg, a bounty hunter! Later Kat winds up with full clown face paint. And yes, there are possibly animatronic polar bears involved - we don't make the rules.

In the second episode, the Ancient Spirits of Evil have finally had it with Mumm-Ra's HOA violations and give him a final ultimatum: defeat the ThunderCats and conquer Third Earth by sundown or be banished forever. As Mumm-Ra kicks his evil into overdrive, the ThunderCats must stop a chain reaction of devastating earthquakes that could tear the planet apart. Meanwhile, Snarf returns to the Book of Omens to face the fiery wrath of those mystical P.F. Chang-style dragons.

And while the world's falling apart? Lynx-O, Bengali, and Pumyra are still casually cruising in the Feliner like they're on a scenic road trip. Will the ThunderCats save the planet in time? Can Mumm-Ra finally get it together for once? And most importantly - will anyone help WilyKat get that clown paint off his face?

Today's double episode starts with "The Circus Train":

⚡"A bounty hunter known as Captain Bragg comes to Third Earth to help the ThunderCats get rid of the Mutants and the Lunataks. After a talk with Wilykat, Capt Bragg tricks the Thunderkitten into going with him."

    Then in "The Last Day":

"Impatient with Mumm-Ra failing them time and time again, the Ancient Spirits of Evil give him one final chance: destroy the ThunderCats within twenty-four hours, or face exile. To this end, he is granted extraordinary power, and grows to a gigantic size."

    ⚡Original Airdates: September 29, 1988 & September 30, 1988.

✨Thank you to the "ThunderCats Wiki" for the plot synopsis✨
