Hey Sis! Tell us what you think.
Some of y'all don't have friends. You have associates with seniority.
We throw the word "friend" around pretty casually, but what does it actually mean? This week, Ki and Chanel break down the difference between a friend, an associate, and somebody who's simply been around for a long time.
How much effort should exist on both sides of a friendship? Does communication have to be consistent? Can someone consider you a friend when you only consider them an associate? And when does a friendship quietly turn into something less?
Then comes the real question: does history automatically equal friendship or are some people only still in our lives because of how long they've been there?
Grab your drink. It's time to figure out who's really a friend... and who might need to be moved to the associate section.
