      First, the plaintiff says her husband, the defendant, took her valuables from a house they shared and refuses to return them. She also says he’s been abusive toward her in the past. She’s suing him for the value of her missing property. The defendant says it was the plaintiff who secretly hired movers and cleaned out his house, so she’s the one who took all the items. Then, the plaintiff says she was parked in her apartment complex when her neighbor backed out and slammed into her car. She witnessed the whole event take place, but the defendant refuses to pay up for the damage, so she’s suing. The defendant admits to tapping the plaintiff’s car, but they both looked at the bumpers and agreed there was no damage. The plaintiff apparently changed her mind several days later. The price of the damage she is also claiming is extremely overstated. Plus, the plaintiff says he and his neighbor are at odds because her dog bit him in the right calf and she doesn’t think it’s her responsibility to pay his medical bills. The defendant was cited by animal control, and he’s suing for his money back. The defendant says the plaintiff never went in an ambulance and she doesn’t believe her 12-year-old dog did anything.       First, the plaintiff says she told her beautician not to use weave glue on her scalp several times during appointments, as she’s allergic to the substance. However, the defendant did just that anyway, causing the plaintiff to have a reaction and need to go out in public with a head wrap on. She’s suing the defendant for her pain and suffering. The defendant says she’s only ever used glue to apply weaves and is shocked she’s being sued because the plaintiff never told her about the allergy. Then, the plaintiff says he did home repairs for the defendant after Hurricane Sandy, but now she’s stiffing him on the cost of his materials and labor. It’s not that she can’t pay him, she just won’t. He’s suing to get his money back. The defendant says the plaintiff is a friend of her sister-in-law’s and is charging her for doing none of the work he says he did. Plus, the plaintiff says he’s been friends with the defendant for a long time and loaned him money during a hard time to keep him afloat. Unfortunately, it’s been over six months, and the plaintiff still has not been paid back, so he’s suing. The defendant says he did borrow money from the plaintiff, but also says the plaintiff owed him money first, so he doesn’t owe anything. He is countersuing for rent money the plaintiff owes him.       First, the plaintiff reports that she went to the dentist for a crown procedure, only for that crown to last not even three weeks. She is suing the dentist for pain and suffering to get back the money she spent. The defendant says when the plaintiff came back, she discovered the tooth had cracked. She recommended replacing it, but the plaintiff refused. Since she did what she could in good faith, so she owes nothing. Then, the plaintiff and defendant were friends for 14 years when they planned a trip to Mexico to have some fun. The defendant couldn’t pay for several of the expenses off the bat, so the plaintiff covered the cost. The plaintiff still has not been paid back and is suing. The defendant claims the plaintiff offered to take her on the trip because she had a settlement claim; there was no deal about paying back the plaintiff. Plus, the plaintiff says she was the victim of hurricane damage to her rental space, and the landlord refuses to return her security deposit because she was unable to clear away debris within his unreasonable schedule. She’s suing the landlord now for that deposit back. The defendant says he gave the plaintiff three warnings and plenty of opportunity to remove her items from the property, but she didn’t listen to him, so he used the money to remove her items for her.
