Ho Ho Ho

As it's November, we thought that maybe we should allow you to re-associate yourself with the Festive season, Old Gits style. Here it is again for those of you who have asked where it had gone.

We visited the house of Christmas (the official one) earlier than most in July and met up with the official Mr Christmas, Andy Park, who has been celebrating the big day EVERY DAY for years and years. Well, look, I don't need to explain here; let the podcast do it for us. Oh, and enjoy it.

Oh, and another thing this year's panto is coming soon. Oh yes, it is.

On this podcast, we are talking to David about a project he's been working on for 9 years. David's son is an actor, and when he first went to drama school, during the first half-term holiday, he brought home the music for a new show that was to become a global sensation. That show was SIX; for those that haven't heard or seen it, it is about the 6 wives of Henry VIII and, of course, features 6 female actors.

David then asked his son what the alternative would be for male actors, and other than the likes of Jersey Boys, there wasn't really anything. David set himself a challenge to come up with a credible alternative; it took all that time, with many different projects started and stopped along the way, until he hit on The Mob: Made-Men. We will let David tell you more about it, but suffice it to say, David and his son are now working on bringing the show to a theatre near you.

For those avid listeners who know that we continually strive to provide terrific money-making ideas we have thought through long and hard (actually about 30 seconds), we've learned from your feedback that you really enjoy these ideas, and many of you continue to tell us that, like us, you have made absolutely NOTHING from a few of them.

Not only that, as it is actually pre-stained (by the printers), if they get bored, you can suggest they spend the afternoon at the sink trying to get the stains off.

We won't write too much here, as it is better coming from John in his own words; however, just to say, John suggested that he thought it might help others in a similar situation to him with his recent cancer diagnosis and how he and, importantly, his family are handling the findings and the treatment he is now undergoing.
