Steve sits down with Midge Ure for a look back at some of the most memorable music of the New Wave era. Midge talks about his upcoming collection Chapters: The Best Of Midge Ure, revisiting songs from Ultravox, Visage and his solo work, and what it was like to step back into “Fade To Grey” and record a new version more than 40 years later. He also looks back at Band Aid and Live Aid, including the story of how Howard Jones talked him into performing “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” during a summer tour.

The conversation also turns to Midge’s latest album A Man of Two Worlds and the experience of creating new music while reflecting on the music that came before it. Along the way, Midge shares stories behind some of his best-known songs, memorable performances and the different chapters of his musical journey, while also talking about what’s ahead and the possibility of returning to the U.S. for more shows.

Steve sits down with Colin Moulding, founding member, bassist, and songwriter for XTC, to talk about his incredible journey through music. Colin looks back at the early days of XTC, working alongside Andy Partridge, the songs that became fan favorites, and how the band’s sound continued to evolve over the years. He also talks about stepping away from touring and exploring a different musical side of XTC with The Dukes of Stratosphear.

Colin also talks about reuniting with Terry Chambers for TC&I, getting back to making music, and what keeps him writing today. He shares the story behind his latest release, Want It Bad (The Pep Talks and Playing Fields of Old England), and why now felt like the right time to put new music out. It’s a great conversation with one of the voices behind some of XTC’s most memorable music, and a chance to hear Colin talk about the band, the memories, and what he’s up to today.
