  • The Healing Power of Flow in Art After Profound Loss
    Oct 7 2026

This week in TNR, Ashley Chappell joins me, and I was riveted during this entire conversation.

Ashley and I met a handful of years back while I was still managing the photography team at Red Bull. She had shared her personal story with me just recently, and I’m grateful that she chose to share it here because I know that she’s going to inspire anyone else who listens in.

Ashley shares her poignant story of transitioning from nursing to photography. After being diagnosed with lupus and experiencing the profound loss of her son (after losing her sister five years prior), she took a step back from her hospice nursing career. This life-altering experience led her to embrace photography not just as a profession, but as a means of expressing her inner world.

“I had a second chance at life... I want to do something with my life, something that I want to do.”

We get into what it’s like for her when she’s deeply in flow — when the room goes silent — and her intuition and something outside of herself just takes over. That’s when she creates something otherworldly kind of beautiful …

BONUS: This week’s thumbnail background photo is one of Ashley’s personal images!

  • The silver lining of hitting rock bottom
    Sep 23 2026

What’s up, roomies? I hope everyone’s doing alright out there. I’m sending you lots of LOVE. I’ve realized how obsessive I get with understanding the “why” of how we ended up where we are, feeling into this awakening I and loads of other mid-life women have been heading into face first, eyes wide open.

There are a bunch of majors here, but one of the biggest catalysts for how we arrived in this moment happened around the time that we started entering the workforce

… in this episode, I explain my WHY #1

If you’re a nerd like me and care about this kinda thing, I’d love to hear your thoughts and any other takes y’all have

  • For my grandmother: Honoring the women who came before us
    Sep 16 2026

I felt pulled to put my thoughts into a voice memo today. My grandmother popped into my psyche last night (I mean, she’s always there because she’s my spirit guide), but something prompted me to share how she sent me a very clear message of comfort on my 40th birthday three years ago. It seemed to resonate with a lot of people, so I wanted to pass the message along and tell more stories.

Is there a woman who you’d like to honor? I would love to hear your stories 🩷

  • From a mental performance coach: you MUST stop doubting yourself, you have innate power
    Sep 9 2026

“It was my mental health and bipolar diagnosis that led me along a path of spirituality.”

At just 23, after moving to Seattle, Malisa Nguyen faced immense challenges in her career and mental health, often retreating to the bathroom during busy shifts to manage anxiety attacks. It was during this challenging moment in her life that she sought guidance from a psychic. They encouraged her to pursue certification in holistic health and wellness. This advice would set her on a path of discovery.

Malisa’s spiritual awakening happened in 2018. After she opened that portal, she began to see the world (and herself) in a completely new way. That informed her career path, shifting over into mental performance coaching. She’s now living a very aligned life, and she hopes that her story will encourage other women to follow their own signals and inner guidance to achieve their own version of alingment

  • Your inner voice is a REALLY good driver ... give her the steering wheel
    Sep 2 2026

This is my first solo episode. I’ve been meaning to get into the habit of doing them regularly, but life has been catching up to me … I have so many thoughts on so many things, and I’ve been feeling compelled to make some more “snackable” episodes.

Today, I felt pulled to chat with y’all about listening to our inner voice and letting our intuition be in the driver’s seat more often. This episode is inspired by a two things: a recent mediation where my inner voice gave me the download to (over)think less and just DO more; AND a coaching session where my friend, Nina, hit home the point that our first instinct is usually the most aligned. It’s in the moments that follow where our ego changes our mind: the time when we talk ourselves out of something we were super jazzed on.

We women are innately intuitive: it’s one of our greatest gifts. But society (and the men running it) are constantly telling us to push it down. But what would happen if we stopped listening to them and started tapping into our own inner guidance?

    I’ll tell you what … MAGIC ✨

  • I really was like, what do I want to hear? ... and that's what I created!
    Aug 17 2026

Yay! A special LIVE edition of TNR with our dear IRL friend, the incredibly talented and insightful, Mariana Bell.

Mariana just put out her latest album, Give It A GO! (released August 16), and it's a complete pivot from her previous sound from the last couple of decades.

She talks about her process in creating it and how she really embraced the art of letting go and surrendering while making it. She mentioned how this album is exactly what she needs in her own life: through the chaos of the moment, sometimes we just need a dance party! A(WO)man!

  • I got REALLY good at climbing the ladder, but I was SO unfulfilled. I pivoted, and you can too!
    Aug 12 2026

This week in TNR, Nicole Cutright discusses how she got incredibly good at climbing the corporate ladder for 15+ years … BUT each time she’d get into a new role, she’d ask the question: “is this really it?”

Nicole started to contemplate what else was out there. What else might be more aligned? This led her to work with a coach who helped Nicole answer some of the questions she had about her life and get more clarity about her next chapter. Another pivotal moment came a couple years ago when she went through a mental health crisis with her mom. After seeing first-hand how flawed our healthcare system really is, Nicole felt pulled to be a catalyst for change.

That’s when she decided to go back to school for counseling psychology. It’s been between her work coaching women to find their aligned life + pursuing a new field all together that Nicole has found HER aligned life.

To all the other women out there reading / listening, here’s the theme: if there’s something that you keep coming back to, something that feels like you’re meant to do it, you must investigate it. Your intuition is your best guide, and if she’s telling you something, then you’ll do best to listen to her. It’s NEVER too late. 🩷
