  • When Fever Brings Back Old Patterns
    Dec 25 2025

If you work with babies and toddlers, you've probably noticed this pattern: a baby you treated weeks or months ago comes back after a bout of illness, and symptoms you thought were resolved have returned.

The torticollis that had improved is back. The reflux has resurfaced. Old tension patterns have reappeared.

This isn't coincidence, and it doesn't mean your original work didn't hold. There are real physiological reasons why illness—particularly illness with fever—can temporarily reactivate old patterns.

In this episode, we explore the connection between fever, the autonomic nervous system, and fascial tension, examining why the body's stress response during illness can bring back holding patterns you'd previously released.

You'll learn about the multiple factors that create this "perfect storm"—from autonomic activation to coughing strain to decreased movement—and understand how to support families through post-illness regression with confidence.

  • Don't Miss the Holiday Season Due to Reflux or Colic
    Dec 12 2025

The holiday season should be magical for new families, but for the parents you work with whose babies struggle with reflux, colic, or constant crying, it can feel devastating.

In this episode, I'm talking to practitioners about what's really happening for these families emotionally—the isolation, the grief of missing out on showing off their baby, and how both parent and baby might still be processing their birth experience.

You'll learn why holiday disruptions hit babies' nervous systems so hard, how car seats and routine changes create physical and emotional dysregulation, and why craniosacral therapy isn't just about releasing tension—it's about helping families process what they've been through so they can move forward together.

If you work with families in the perinatal space, this episode will help you understand what your clients need most during this season and how to support them.

    Episode Timestamps:

    • [3:00] Why holiday disruptions dysregulate babies' nervous systems
    • [8:00] When birth trauma is still replaying for both parent and baby
    • [12:00] How CST helps families process without words
    • [16:00] The isolation parents feel when they can't show off their baby
    • [19:00] Why timing matters: benefits and booking before year-end
    • [22:00] How to refer families for support

  • What Reflux Actually Looks Like in the Body - Patterns from My Practice
    Nov 13 2025

Reflux isn't just a stomach acid problem - it's a whole-body tension pattern that often starts before birth.

In this episode, I share three patterns I see consistently in my practice when working with babies who have reflux: spinal torsion and asymmetry, abdominal tension patterns, and nervous system dysregulation.

You'll learn what to look for in assessment, why birth history matters, and the mistake practitioners make that causes symptoms to return.

Whether you're a CST practitioner or a parent trying to understand your baby's reflux, this episode will shift how you see this condition.

    Episode Timestamps:

2:00 - Why reflux is treated as the wrong problem

7:30 - Pattern 1: Spinal torsion and asymmetry

    13:00 - Pattern 2: Abdominal tension patterns

    18:30 - Pattern 3: Nervous system dysregulation

23:00 - The biggest mistake practitioners make

26:00 - What to assess in your next reflux case

  • The Privilege of Growing With Families - From Newborns to Toddlers
    Oct 30 2025

In this heartfelt episode, Meaghan shares the profound privilege of working with babies from newborn through toddlerhood and watching families evolve across years.

She addresses both parents and practitioners, encouraging continued craniosacral care beyond the newborn stage to support deep fascial pattern release and developmental milestones.

Meaghan validates the financial reality many families face while explaining how even two more sessions in the first year can be a game-changer, and encourages practitioners to say yes to older babies even without pediatric specialty training.

She shares how her staff grew from only treating infants to working with whole families, and includes a powerful example of helping an eight-month-old baby learn to sit by integrating her Moro reflex.

This episode celebrates the clinical depth, emotional connection, and business growth that comes from investing in families over time.
