À propos de ce contenu audio

Welcome to the momma happy hour podcast! This is where I bring mothers together to have real, unscripted conversations. Its a space where they share their experiences, stories and truths about motherhood. When I became a mom I felt so lonely for someone who was always surrounded by my child and my hubby. There was no one really having real motherhood conversation and I felt like the I was the only one going through challenges in my motherhood journey because no one was really talking about it. And for the longest time that is what I thought motherhood was until one day I shared my real thoughts and feelings pertaining my motherhood journey and she said, me too... That is when I knew I needed to normalize real motherhood conversations and that is when the momma happy hour space was formed. A space to let you know that you are not alone momma.

    • The journey of going back to self with Lebo Mehlomakuhlu
      Dec 5 2023

I will be talking about the journey of going back to self with Lebo. It's important to talk about this because when you first become a momma, the whirlwind of new experiences can be both exhilarating and challenging. As time goes on, you begin to find your way back to the person you were before, integrating your new role as a mother into your identity. It's a journey of self-discovery, self-acceptance, and self-love, as you learn to balance your own needs and desires with the responsibilities of nurturing and raising your child. Through the ups and downs, you ultimately find that being a mother doesn't mean losing yourself, but rather, it's an opportunity to rediscover and redefine who you are in the most beautiful and meaningful way.Find her on the socials here:https://www.instagram.com/ladylovebug1/https://www.youtube.com/@mehlomakoolsthekoolklan1424

    • Aftercare beyond the bump with Doula Eseza Kironde -Hall
      Nov 21 2023

There is such a huge difference of the care you get as a pregnant woman than after birth. Most of the time the attention focuses on the babies and the mothers just supposed to sort themselves out. And for the longest time society has shunned or looked down upon women who look like they are not cooping which is not okay. This is why I brought Eseza to the momma happy hour . She is a momma of twins and a doula and on this episode we discuss and emphasize on the importance of caring for the momma after birth. Find on the socials here:
