UPDATE: Alicia Brown the mother of Aliea has been taken into custody on kidnapping charges after this episode was released. We will keep you all informed as we find out more.

Seven years ago, I covered the disappearance of 10-year-old Ailea Brown, hoping that one day I would be able to return with good news.

Instead, we're here seven years later.

In this episode, we're revisiting Ailea's case from the beginning, discussing the custody battle that preceded her disappearance, what investigators have publicly stated over the years, and why her case has recently returned to the spotlight.

We'll also separate verified facts from online speculation and examine how renewed public attention has brought Ailea's name back into conversations across social media and the news.

As always, this episode is based on publicly available information. Allegations discussed are identified as such, and every person is presumed innocent unless proven otherwise in a court of law.

Day 2 of Crimetober | The Mysterious Death of Chris Jenkins

On Halloween night in 2002, 21-year-old University of Minnesota student Chris Jenkins walked out of a downtown bar in Minneapolis and vanished.
Four months later, his body was pulled from the Mississippi River — still dressed in his Halloween costume. At first, police called it an accidental drowning. But years later, after pressure from his family and new evidence, the case was reclassified as a homicide.

So what really happened to Chris Jenkins? Was he the victim of foul play, part of a larger pattern of suspicious drownings, or simply in the wrong place at the wrong time?
Join me as we walk through the timeline, the investigation, and the chilling questions that still surround this unsolved case.
