The Mets have a chance to accomplish something that should have been impossible. By going 17-7 since our last episode, the Amazin's are in the 3rd Wild Card spot in the NL but may have their sights on a larger prize. Tonight is the first of 7 games in 10 days against division-leading Philadelphia who currently sit 8 games ahead of the Mets in the standings with 16 games left to play in the season. Is it possible that these streaking, improbable, immaculate-vibes Mets could take down the division and erase the horrid memories of 2007? I don't know, but I wouldn't put anything past this squad.
