The host Ryan Poole built an AI coaching platform to help men become who they were always meant to be. This is what that sounds like. The Maxximus Show is hosted by Ryan Poole founder of Maxximus, the AI-powered men's coaching platform. Each episode, Ryan sits down with coaches, founders, athletes, and experts from the worlds of dating, relationships, and masculine development — plus Maxximus (the AI coach of the platform) and Marcus (the AI CEO that helps build Maxximus) for conversations you won't hear anywhere else. Ryan spent 27 years in real estate sales, has been on 1,000 first dates with women from over 60 countries, raised a son as a single father, and spent decades studying what separates the men who thrive from the men who drift. Out of that came Maxximus AI and the Maxximus Method — built on stoic philosophy, evolutionary psychology, and real-world coaching. Every episode covers what men actually need to hear: — Dating and attraction: confidence, communication, and building something real — Masculine identity: leadership, fatherhood, brotherhood, and purpose — Life performance: focus, fitness, and financial clarity — The mindset: stoic philosophy meets modern psychology meets lived experience Want to try Maxximus now? • Activate Your Ancient DNA: The 5 Levers Every Man Needs| The Maxximus Show Ep. 19
    Oct 28 2026

Here is what nobody is saying out loud.

Modern Homo sapiens have existed for at least 200,000 years. For nearly all of that time, men were hunter-gatherers -- moving, hunting, competing, bonding in nature, surviving real challenges. Every man alive today has hunters in his bloodline who took on woolly mammoths, fought off cave bears, and faced saber-tooth tigers.

That DNA is still in you.

But nothing in your modern environment is asking you to be who you actually were built to be. Comfort is the default. Screens are the default. Low stakes are the default. And the cost is showing up everywhere in testosterone levels, in mental health, in motivation, in the way men show up in relationships and in life.

In Episode 19 of The Maxximus Show, Maxximus Founder Ryan Poole breaks down the 5 levers that reconnect every man to his ancient DNA. Not supplements. Not hacks. The inputs your body was actually designed for and the reason Pillar 1 of the Maxximus Method comes before everything else.

    The 5 Levers:
    1. Physical Training -- the competence signal your nervous system is waiting for
    2. Nutrition -- fuel you were built to run on
    3. Sleep -- where testosterone is made and the prefrontal cortex resets
    4. Nature, Hunting, and the Outdoors -- the oldest feedback system on earth
    5. Cold Exposure -- the hardest and fastest identity reset available to any man

Ryan has spent 20 years free dive spearfishing in blue water -- wahoo, cobia, tuna and has hunted across North America his entire life. His son Everett is 10 years old, has his own bow, and is already diving 35 feet in the ocean.

This is not a lifestyle flex. This is Pillar 1. The foundation every other pillar is built on.

You cannot coach a man on dating and relationships if he is operating a degraded version of himself. Fix the foundation first.

  • The Disconnect in Modern Dating (And How to Fix It) | The Maxximus Show Ep. 18
    Oct 21 2026

Something broke in the last twenty years. And nobody has been honest about what it was.

91 percent of men and 91 percent of women both say dating has never been harder. Not men saying it about women. Not women saying it about men. Both sides. Same answer.

The U.S. fertility rate just hit 1.57 the lowest ever recorded in American history. Replacement level is 2.1. We haven't been there since 2007. 710,000 fewer births per year than our recent peak. And it is connected directly to what happened between men and women over the last two decades.

    Here is what actually happened.

For twenty years, society told men that their masculinity was the problem. Apologize for it. Suppress it. Soften it. Good men took that seriously. They pulled back. They stopped approaching. They stopped leading. And then women looked around wondering where the backbone went.

At the same time, society told women they don't need anyone. Conquer alone. Build alone. You are the prize. You don't need a man to complete you. And women believed it. Built careers, built lives, built everything. And then looked around with nobody to share it with.

Both sides are lonely. Both sides are longing for the same thing. And both sides were pointed in opposite directions by the same culture.

In this week's Episode 18, Maxximus Founder Ryan Poole breaks down exactly how this happened. What the apps did to both sides, what society did to men, what it did to women, why the fertility crisis is the consequence nobody is connecting to dating, and what the actual fix looks like. Not tactics. Not better apps. Something deeper.

This is the conversation almost nobody is having honestly.

Women aren't looking for a man who conquered the world. They're looking for a man who conquered himself.

    That is where this starts.

  • Why Men Give up on Dating (And How to Get Back in the Game) | The Maxximus Show Ep. 17
    Oct 6 2026

Something is happening right now that nobody is talking about honestly.

30.4 million men between the ages of 20 and 39 are unmarried in America. That is up from 20.7 million in 2000 a 50 percent increase in 25 years. More than half of men under 30 are not in a relationship. 63 percent of young men describe themselves as single. And somewhere between 53 and 63 percent of single men are not actively dating at all.

Those are not numbers about the dating market getting harder. Those are numbers about men who stopped showing up.

Most of them didn't make one big dramatic decision to quit. There was no moment in front of a mirror where they said "I'm done." It happened the same way most men lose things - slowly, quietly, one small decision at a time. Until the door was closed and they called the closed door peace.

In this weeks episode 17, Maxximus Founder Ryan Poole breaks down what's actually happening underneath the surface the real reasons men drift out of dating and the one question that gets you back in the game.

This is not a motivation speech. You cannot think your way to motivation. Motivation follows action, not the other way around. This episode is about what happens before that first move the honest look at where you actually stand, so you stop operating from your worst moments and start operating from the truth.

The door is not locked. It never was.
